More than just a store - its an experience. I was pulled in by the plants and welcoming atmosphere and stayed for the shop atendees that made me feel like friends. I also left with the cutest short and top set which is not only ethically made, but incredibly versatile. Not once did I feel like they were being friendly with me just to make a sale like most retail stores I have not only been to but worked at. GO! You wont regret it!

Absolutely love this place. Bitter Grace has such a welcoming entrance with plants, greenery, candles and clothes. They value sustainability and they have some amazing pieces. I bought pistola denim jeans there that fit perfectly, which is usually hard for me to find. Also got a great candle that has rose quartz in it and makes my apartment smell so good. Everyone there was really nice and helpful. I even got a nice email a couple days after my purchase. They also host events such as a candle making class and I’m looking forward to future events. I’ll definitely be back to this gem of a place.

I absolutely adore this boutique right in the heart of Capitol Hill Washington D.C. The owner Anne Marie is an absolutely amazing - she chooses every piece in her boutique with such intention and care and it shows the second you walk into the gorgeous space. She works only with sustainable brands and carries lots of local and women owned & hand made items. Everything is super high quality and the staff is incredible. Alicia is so sweet! PLUS the shop pup Roxy is the best!

There are so many places to shop online but this online store is one of my favorite places to shop of all time! Bitter Grace Boutique has really positioned themselves to be a leader in the purposeful fashion market. I always feel great that a portion of my purchases are paid forward to organizations I believe in. For me, it's not JUST about the clothing per se but more about how the clothes make me feel. I've totally bought into what this company is doing and I'm a fan. Their brand and mission is spot on with my interests, and their social media is inspiring. I've loved everything I've ordered from this site - including the 'Cashmere Duster Cardigan' in camel black, and the 'Lydia Wrap' in grey and tan. The clothes look great, they retain their shape well, and are so easy to travel with! 5 stars.
