The Cocklin's created our Corporate Safety Video and created some additional printed Safety material for our Company, Hercules Fence. The Cocklin Team was professional and great to work with! They created a top tier script, and guided myself and the leadership of our company through several days of filming, editing and generated an amazing final product that we are proud to present to our employees. They were flexible with our needs, and worked hard and efficiently to implement our vision. The timelines, scope of work, video expectations and cost were all represented well. I have engaged the Cocklins for years doing video and sound for chemical safety videos for a prominent government client. They are extremely professional. Steve is not only a solid DP, and great at lighting and setup, he is on top of the super HD gear more than anyone I know, always with cutting edge technology. While handling audio, Anne works great with everyone in the room, and is a great backup director making sure those interviewed look and sound their best. You can always count on Anne and Steve.
Grace under pressure is so cliché (but so true). They are kind, understanding, helpful and professional under pressure. They are also flexible, responsive and creative. I've been under the gun of last minute scope changes while standing on the ground with Steve and Anne - and I've known that they would get behind me and help push. It makes my blood pressure go down a few ticks to know they are on the job with me.
When I needed a local videography team to help me pull of a short notice shoot of medical experts filming presentations for continuing medical education learners to earn credit, I looked to a google search to find a team that had great reviews. I sent out a request for proposal, and after a thoughtful phone call to hear more about my ideas for the project, the Cocklins put together an impressive proposal that fit within my budget. When the filming location completely fell through and I was struggling to find anywhere that wasn’t already booked due to a citywide meeting, Anne Cocklin helped me to find an office space to rent for the two days we needed – She really went above and beyond to make my vision a reality, and that location ended up working much better than what I originally had in mind. As far as the style of filming, I wanted something more intimate and engaging than the typical “voice over slides” theme of the past several years for online learning. I wanted to see the presenter and then their slides or graphics appropriately in a way that would engage a learner and that could be edited as a “suite” of vignettes or courses to roll out exciting new curriculum. The Cocklins helped me do just that. When working with busy medical professionals, they are often perfecting their slides until the last possible moment, and when you’re working with an accrediting body and peer review, further edits to slides are often made. The Cocklins were more than accommodating, patient and understanding in the entire process, as accrediting content to meet the standards for continuing medical education takes longer than one might expect. The Cocklins were kind to all of our presenters and to me and my supervisor. They worked swiftly in editing with great attention to detail. They also worked with my graphic designer to create an intro and closing for each video. I couldn’t have been happier with their work and professionalism. I would hire them again and again and again.
Outstanding videography. Excellent editing. A great team to work with. Anyone who has done even a little video production knows that on-site shoots don't always go exactly as planned, but Steve and Anne are able to oll with the punches\ and create a first-rate product under almost any circumstances. They recently produced a recruitment video for us. They patiently worked with us through the editing process to strike just the right tone for the video, and the final product surpassed our greatest expectations. The video ended up winning two international media awards: the Telly Award and the Communicator Award. In a previous life, as a CNN reporter back in the 1980s and 90s, I worked with Steve and Anne during \Operation Praying Mantis\: a 1988 naval battle between the U.S. and Iran in the Gulf. Our ship was fired upon numerous times, but Steve and Anne kept their cool and produced great video. Even under great pressure, Steve and Anne's professionalism shines through, and I' found their work is consistent, no matter the obstacles. They've worked together a long time and have their act down pat. I highly recommend Cocklin Digital for anyone looking for a first-class video production at reasonable rates.
