This a great spot in 11 St, NW, DC. Place was very cozy and doing all the Covid guidelines. I order al pastor tacos flavor was good but it looks more like chorizo tacos and sweet. Asada tacos were ok need sth to pull the Flavors up. Fish tacos the same needs a sauce or sth. In my opinion would be better if they have homemade fresh tortillas and better sauces to go well with the tacos. Service is great they even gave us a guacamole complement, very nice people. I love to see this places in the middle of the city but need a little bit of improvement in food

El Chucho is perhaps the best taco place in DC. My favorites are the al pastor and asada. Each bite of the taco is just so perfect. The best part is that everything is very reasonably priced so it won’t break the bank. On Monday nights they have happy hour all night which makes it even cheaper. Be sure to also check out their drinks! The margarita I got was wonderful but they have a very extensive drinks menu as well! They are very COVID conscious and the staff is wonderful and attentive. Be sure to make a reservation online or call in!
I found this place online looking for a tacos and saw the had rooftop seating so I made a reservation. We arrived early and they were able to seat us. The staff was nice and explained covid rules as we were being taken to our seat on the roof. The area was ok. There was no beautiful view that I was expecting but area wasn't bad. I was hoping we we be spaced a little further apart. The temporary menu was very small. We ordered 2 types of tacos, street corn, a frozen drink , and an enchilada. The food came quick and the portions were incredibly small! I only ordered chicken tacos and corn. So I was a little disappointed they looked like appetizers. The flavor was not good. The corn was ok. My friend had steak tacos and they had no flavor at all! The enchilada was good. My overall opinion is that the portions are too small and flavor is not there for me. I would not go again.
Everything is delicious here. Simple and fairly priced Mexican fare. Good cocktails (although the Michelada was a little weaker in terms of flavor). You can't go wrong with any of the tacos, but the fish and octopus varieties really stand out. Lacking a bit of heat but you can just ask for hot sauce. Still a classic joint, and the terrasse is lovely in the springtime and summer.
Great take out! Tasty and got home in one piece. Ordered online, ready on time, easy front patio pick up window.
