This place really left a bad taste in my mouth. I asked for a sesame soy salad after carefully reading the list of ingredients. I'm allergic to tomatoes, so I have to exclude them. However, the salad I got was full of tomatoes. Moreover, I asked for an extra topping of blue berries and what I received was some really friend stuff instead (it was some kinda dark tofu). I took my plate back to the counter (I stood in the line for 10 minutes), and the manager excoriated me for not properly studying the menu. He was rude and uncivil and yelled at me for not properly communicating my choices. I asked for a refund and he said it was a waste of his time. I know Java Green has all the hype of an organic, vegetarian place. But that is no excuse for poor quality service. Customers do matter, and it is important to treat people with respect and courtesy.

First of all, I'm Korean. So I ordered Bibimbap to see how well they could mimic the original ones in Korea. WRONG CHOICE. What kind of Bibimbap in the world has big raw cucumbers and carrots and peppers and NOT have any beef and fried eggs in there? Even the rice under it was not the same kind; so dry and too sticky. Based on the language that people there were using, I'm assuming they were Chinese. I mean, if you don't even know how to make a right dish in a right way, at least make it taste good. It was just horrible. I had to leave the 80% of the food uneaten because it was that horrible. I'm sorry if I sound so harsh on this restaurant. I just don't want people to get a misleading image of Korean food based on this bad restaurant.
The service is painfully slow, the food and the drinks are bad, and everything is really, really expensive. My friend and I went to Java Green with the best expectations for lunch, and everything we got was really sub par and took a really long time to prepare. The "large" smoothie, which actually wasn't very big, cost 10 dollars! The raw platter was salty and boring, and my friend did not like her veggie wrap. Even the soy latte had a weird aftertaste, and we had to wait for it for 15 minutes.
Food is decent but overpriced and way too slow.
Interesting food options, loved their shakes.
Rice bar is good.
