I was having a nightmare of a time with a Chevy dealership. They told me that I had bad fuel in my tank and it caused me to loose a injector, and if I drove it could plug other injectors. The dealership took a sample and put it in a bottle and told me it was not be covered by warranty because I put fuel in with algae and other contaminants. The dealership said it would be at least 3000.00 and as much as 8000.00 depending on how many injectors need to be replaced. The fuel tank will need to be cleaned ,fuel filter replaced and possibly a fuel rail. The comment was we will not know until we dig in deeper. I was completely surprised at the findings. They recommend me to contact get-go as well as my insurance company. I contacted get-go and filed a report. They called me back after they contacted the dealership and explained they could not have tested the fuel that quick it would take 24-48 hours and they had no other problems reported, they pulled the filter off and took a sample and found nothing wrong. That was the only place I have bought fuel for 16 months. So I contacted my insurance company and after speaking with them they felt there was something wrong. I called Zack and asked his opinion he recommended that I bring the truck in , so I had it towed in. They took a sample and it was clear. He ran the codes and it said it was #2 injector. He called Washington Chevy check out it there was a warranty on it, they said it would be covered , Zack made arrangements for me to take it there and they fixed it under warranty. REALLY. Talk about honest ! I Appreciate A Good HARD WORKING COMPANY. Thank you. And May God Bless.
