Trails are wet and muddy in some spots. Great spot to observe wildlife. A small herd of deer crossed my path in parking lot.Clean and well kept park.

Hiked the perimeter trail. Well marked with some nice views of the reservoir. Some sections are somewhat rocky and uneven for my 67 year old knees.

The visitor's center is currently closed due to covid. There are Porta potties by the boat launch. The lawn on the side of the visitor's center is a lovely place to picnic!

Awesome place with awesome views! A lot of different hiking trails and a boat launch and a visitor center with different types of animals and info on the wildlife that is there and even things for kids! If your looking for a family outing and easy hiking trails and a huge resivour then this is a place you might want to check out!

It is a nature trail, so by the water the path has some slippery rocks- make sure you wear appropriate shoes. It is a quiet, beautiful place.

This reservoir is a unique place to paddle. The builders, for whatever reason, left entire stands of trees uncut when it was originally flooded. This means that you can paddle through a barren tree forest! In places the stand is thick enough to temporarily lose sight of your paddling companions. The shore is unremarkable other than the trees, but there are several stands scattered about the shoreline. Close to 7 miles of shoreline can make a trip here nearly a full day.

Its beautiful, easy to manage trails to walk and hike.
