I have never been so disappointed with a doctor's office. After spending multiple hours composing notes, emails and talking to several people on the phone no one could help get me an answer. The office manager, Ashley was supposed to call me back a long time ago and never followed up. Since then, I have called multiple times and left voicemails and she has continued to ignore me and not call me back. I am very disappointed with the level of care and feedback given at this facility. Now, I am stuck with a ridiculous bill that no one will answer my questions to. This has caused so much stress and anxiety and I will be switching doctors.

It is always frustrating when a physician's office will charge for a missed appointment if not canceled in 24 hours (because the physician's/physician's assistant/nurse's time is limited and valuable). I set an appointment, two weeks in advance, confirmed it, and then rescheduled a busy out of state travel schedule only to be contacted at 0715, thirty minutes before the appointment, and canceled. I rescheduled itinerary for travel out of the state, waited two additional weeks for a specific early appointment, confirmed the appointment a week before. If the circumstances were reversed, I would now be paying for an appointment not kept. The office staff for Dr. Jay T. Rhodes with the OSF Medical Group-Washington, IL offered no alternative other than another appointment at a later time/date forcing another rescheduling of a busy travel schedule. I understand when a doctor, nurse, physician assistant, etc. calls in, for whatever reason; however, it is not unreasonable to expect someone else to fulfill Dr. Jay T Rhodes' obligation. I was not scheduled for a procedure or anything invasive but an intake history and physical to transfer records from my home state of Tennessee. If you believe it is important to keep your commitment, especially regarding the sacrosanct trust placed in one's physician, I highly recommend another Medical Group.

I got there before 6 to get labs done because Google says the hours are open till 6 pm. They did not let me in the door before 6 pm, so the comment that someone from OSF posted in response to someone is inaccurate that they close at 6 because I was denied entry. Then I was approached in the parking lot by an employee because I was parked outside for a while after 6 and was told that OSF has no control over what Google puts online. Out of convenience for others, it would be helpful to have the accurate times listed and have this edited, I refuse to believe they have “no control”. Not to mention, I waited on hold for a while before hand so I couldn’t get someone to confirm the times online before getting in.

I really like the staff at the Washington location. But every time I need to call it's ridiculously impossible to get to talk to a nurse. I wait on hold at least 20 minutes every single time and if they have to talk to the doctor and call back I wait an hour or more.
