Just a few minutes walk from Dupont Circle, this place is amazing. I love their variety of traditional and nontraditional empanada fillings. My favorite was their brie and mushroom empanada. All four of my empanadas were so good, I didn’t really need the salsas. They have a great menu abbreviation system so ordering is really easy, and they stamp the abbreviation on the edge of the pastry so you know which is which. It was pretty quiet, and service was a little slow at the end end of lunch time. I would definitely recommend it!

Really enjoyed my first empanada experience. They're not really big but that just means that you can order more of them and therefore try more flavors. The staff was really patient with us and explained how it all worked. We got a combo that came with a side of plantain chips that were tasty.
OK, maybe I've given too many 5 star ratings but this place is crazy good! Choices... Fresh... Delicious... Piping hot... Wow! I will eat here every day I'm in D.C.!
We stayed up the road from this little DC Gem! After walking by it 20 times, I finally went inside.....the best decision ever!!!!! Great flavors, great service and a true hidden gem of DC!!!!
Amazing selection of Empanadas. The service is fast and honestly you really cant go wrong with picking any of the options; whatever you are in the mood for!!! P.S: Try the Shrimp and/or the brie & artichoke hearts !
This is one of our favorite places in all of dc. The empanadas are amazing and the staff always greets us. Fast and convenient! We go here every other week.
Always amazing food and service! I've been coming to them for about 5 years now! The jamon y queso is my favorite along with maracuya and cholados!
I have not always been the most adventurous eater and am not usually big on empanadas, but these looked so good that I had to try them and I'm so glad I did. They were so good that I'm now excited about empanadas. They also have a great system so you know which empanada is which. My husband and I enjoyed our dinner so much we came back the next day with his father, who is now a fan of empanadas too. Thanks for two great meals!
