My best friend moved to DC for school and I really wanted to make her first Valentines Day away from home special. I found Roots and Blooms flower shop online and chose the florist choice bouquet. The flowers that were delivered were absolutely gorgeous! I could not have asked for such a beautiful bouquet. Thank you, Roots and Blooms!

I highly recommend Roots and Blooms! The process of ordering and confirming the delivery was seamless. The flowers that were delivered were just as they appeared on the website, which offers quite a unique and lovely array of selections. The bouquets are also affordable. It came in a beautiful vase, and the flowers were gorgeous. And they smelled amazing! Also, the packaging was much more sustainable than other places I've seen – it didn't include any plastic.

UPDATED. Just dropped in, and they have a new café menu, run by an Ethiopian/Japanese couple. Ethiopian coffee & homemade sushi join sandwiches and smoothies. Still relaxed, local and delicious. Recommend. Stopped in for a cup of coffee and flowers for my wife. Relaxed, sunny & friendly spot. Reasonable prices, too!
