Submitted a request to DC Vital Records for a birth certificate. There was a question and they took the time to call me and talk through the issue versus just ignore it and not send me what I needed. Definite kudos to SM for taking the time to work with me on my request and having a great response time to my calls/emails. SM is a true Government Worker that has integrity when it comes to their job!

In the time of very important need & couldn't get in to even talk to someone!. Went online & the same thing,nothing!. Needing documents soon as possible in the lost of my son & no one could help me!. This is absolutely terrible & I hope & pray I don't ever,ever have to go there again!. And to the none professional security person & the entrance the building, get some training,because you are the worst!.

Nearly empty building. If you need assistance, no one knows anything. Was placed on telephone hold for 2-1/2 hours a few days ago. Still no helpful information about licensure. Decided to visit office to no avail. A person who had an appointment could not be helped.
