This has become the new neighborhood go to for my wife and I. Dining in is great, but we love it for a fast takeout option. There is a lot to like here. The burgers rank up there with best I have had in DC for the smash burger style patty, the pepperoni square pizza is good, but the sushi is the biggest surprise. It's no Sushi Taro, but it's reasonably priced and better than anything else in Barracks Row / Eastern market area--and frankly better than any of the delivery options I have tried.

I was very unimpressed with the format when I visited a while back. I wanted two slices of pizza and a soda. I was then told that I had to order everything through my phone and to scan the QR code that was next to the pizza section. I scanned it and all I saw was beer. The websites easy of usability is pretty awful and then I was told that I had to order the soda separately from a different area. All in all it just was too complicated a situation for two slices of pie and a soda. I ended up leaving and ordering nothing. NY Pizza across the street was way easier to order from and pay.
I love this place! The spicy pepperoni square Detroit style pizza is my favorite pizza in the DMV. It’s only 5.25 per slice and is packed with flavor and the ultimate crispy crust—it’s AMAZING. There’s amble seating inside and outside, lots of options to chose from as far as food and beverages and they make it so easy to order from the QR code you never have to leave your table.
You want tacos he wants sushi? You’re in luck! Bring the dog and sit on the patio- order off your phone and you can access all the menus and have one thing from each place! Quick and friendly service.
This place is amazing! There are many different types of food and marketplace items under one roof so you should find something you like. Staff is also very friendly and just adds positivity to the experience.
Floyd is the best! He always greets me like a friend and makes me feel welcomed. It’s a great local neighborhood hangout! The nachos, tacos, and sushi are delicious! They do need some regular IPAs on draft tho.
Had a fantastic Friday night experience here. Normally do not dine inside but was very impressed by the social distancing procedures in place and saw many staff wearing double masks, so we felt it was safe! The food was amazing. Some of the best maki sushi rolls I’ve had in a while and the pork tacos were awesome. Will definitely be coming back!
I was happy to be out and about during the pandemic, so I popped in to this space on a whim. Very happy with what I found. There a multiple restaurants gathered in this space, they have outdoor and limited indoor seating and seem to be taking this global pandemic seriously, which I appreciated. My drink from Shelter was fantastic, and my wings were bomb! (Pictured)
