This place is amazing. Was looking for a Covid friendly activity in the DC area and this was recommended. Was a super peaceful retreat in the urban jungle offering great \forest bathing\. Nice hiking and opportunities to get close to native plants and trees from all over the globe. Highly recommend.

The Arboretum is lovely this time of year. While many of the flowers aren't in bloom the tree leaves are gorgeous and the weather is great for walking on numerous trails. The Arboretum is large so spend some time picking a parking lot near where you want to go. Plenty of tree trunks and stumps are great for kids to climb plus lots of open spaces for running or cycling. Masks were required.

Can’t wait to go back in spring/summer when things are in full bloom!

Great socially distanced place to pass the time. Good place to walk or ride a bike. I recommend bringing a blanket to sit under a tree with friends or read a book. It is really nice right now to watch the leaves change.

I will say this place is okay, and this is during a visit mid-October. Yes it is a large wooded area with some walking trails and driving roads mostly. Nothing greatly stands out as to why this is a destination. Strongly suggest to visit by car, and not on foot as the area is quite extensive. There is a cluster of \exhibits\ at the start and then pretty much nothing but woods from what we saw. The awkward pillars in the middle of the field made no sense and weren't really even artistic, like someone just placed columns there and said \boom art\. Maybe a better time to visit is during the spring when things are in bloom and buzzing but I can see a lot of people trying to get there and also crowding areas making it less fun. Overall I would say \meh\ as my overall rating of the Arboretum.
