I am a Dahn Yoga instructor and I taught at this center for several months in 2013. It's a great center because it's right in the heart of D.C. and very conveniently located to McPherson Square and Metro Center. There is a noon class every weekday that's only 50 minutes, so members come during their workday. 3 days a week there is an early morning class for people who can't take the time during their daily schedule for class. On Tuesday nights the center manager Laura offers a free meditation circle at 7:15. She's been doing this for several years, and I think it's an excellent service to the community. Please check out this studio.

This was not what I was expecting. It was much better! The exercises look easy, but boy do they make you sweat. And after each class we take some time to meditate, so the experience is truly like a complete energy rejuvenation. The instructors are always polite, but they also truly care about your dvelopement and make sure you're not pushing yourself too far and they also encourage you to do your best. I don't just feel like a customer with them, I feel like a friend.

I am new to town and was looking for a yoga studio. I came across Dahn Yoga and set up a time for an introductory class. I LOVED IT! I had never practiced yoga in the Dahn Yoga style. It was both a mental and physical awakening for me and helped me manage the stresses I was dealing with in my life. The instructor Laura was very knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to help me have a positive experience. The studio is lovely and easily accessible. I am looking forward to experiencing more classes with my membership.

This place is an oasis for finding your inner peace (or at least working towards it!) When I come for private sessions, it's a welcome interlude in my day. I'm 89 years old and it's nice to have a place that keeps me on the road towards serenity. I appreciate the kindness and integrity of the setting and the instructors. After living in DC for about 20 years, I feel that I've found a nice discovery here in our city.

I've been attending Dahn Yoga classes for about 3 months now. I love the positive energy I feel from the classes, the variety of exercises and meditations they offer and above all, I love the warmth and care the teachers have for us, their students. For me, it's not only a place where I go to practice Yoga, but also a place where I can go to talk to both my teachers and fellow students, share my concerns, and get sincere feedback from them.

I joined Dahn Yoga at the very end of November 2012 and since then have experienced very positive results. The classes provide a great base for becoming more flexible, more relaxed and more strength as well as good understanding of the concepts of energy flows. Each class is an opportunity to not only practice in exercise to increase a healthy physical foundation, but also to gain a deeper connection between your mind, body and spirit.

I've attended classes for seven months and have enjoyed it a lot. I'm more flexible, my back pain is almost gone, I feel more energized and better equipped with tools to reduce stress. The instructors are very warm and friendly. They offer many additional workshops and trainings where a nice community meets and exchanges experiences together. I strongly recommend the classes to anyone who wants to improve your energy level or work with any health issues you may have or release your stress.
