What an amazing pagoda to visit. The main area is magnificent but don’t neglect the hundred’s off smaller funeral on the outskirts. Visit during sunset or sunrise- amazing views. Totally amazing that it was build since long time. Get there early especially the main church, as it gets very humid and hot by lunch time. I spent very long time to visit the various pagoda and I can’t wait to go back and see more. Highly recommended, thanks.

Small local market and good view country side
Nice Wat to go visit close to sunset, surrounded by nice green rice fields
Great Wat for a wander, it has the most stupas I have seen at one wat. The monks here look after animals that have been surrendered to their care, beyond the typical cats and dogs. When I visited they had Asian Palm Civets, Bengal Loris, two Pileated Gibbons and a handful of dholes. There's a video on my YouTube - channel is called For Riel.
Old pagoda in village
Beautiful place, there are a lot of peacocks
Best conservative place for wild animals
Wat Pren is located at the second ring road of Siem Reap. The Viharn is still under construction. There is also a chinese cementry beside the temple ground. The crematorium of Wat Pren has colorful paintings at the front outside and is surrounded by trees giving shade for the mourning community. In front of the monks houses are sitting golden Chinthes that looks very beautiful.
