All the staff at this Banfield are top notch. But I would be remiss if I didn’t give a special mention to Dr. Phillips. When we had to make some really painful end-of-life decisions for our sweet dog, she was truly incredible. I can never thank her enough for her kindness, her grace, and her compassion with both my sweet dog and myself. There’s no easy way to make these decisions, but she brought such comfort and compassion that I can’t imagine being able to go through it without her.

Very helpful and nice. We have a Health Plan for our frenchies and came to get their monthly heartworm, flea, tick, and parasites prevention pill. Best part is I live in Dallas but sense I was in Watauga and had my frenchie with me I just walked in had her weight checked and picked her medication up there. Very flexible and always great customer service.
I LOVE my Banfield vet at Alliance. Today I was in a difficult situation because my vet was over-booked so they referred me to Watauga. I walked out and refused their services. It was extremely clear they were more interested in seeing how many tests they could get me to agree to than they were actually finding out why my puppy was sick. They had filled up a bill FULL of tests nearing 1,000, most of which were completely unnecessary. They tried to give a fully vaccinated puppy a parvo test. After I kept discussing with them more and more things on their list that seemed unreasonable, all they cared about was the cost, not the fact that they wanted all these invasive tests for an upset tummy. They removed the parvo test, then they removed the x-ray, but they still wanted well over 300 in tests. It was very clear to me they were interested in selling me things my pup likely didn't need, not interested in helping my sick puppy. I walked out and will never walk back into that Banfield location ever again.
I have been a customer to Banfield Pet Hospital for 10 years. This place has turned from a decent vet clinic to awful in the last year. Nowadays they never have time for you and your pet, unless you book an appointment a week or two in advance. The front desk is short and rude with you when you call, you can tell that they are either overworked or/and hate their job. They have cancelled several appointments recently. They will keep your dog for a whole day in a cage before they have time to check it. They refuse to give a you an estimate over the phone. They always try to upsell you for thing that your pet don't need. They have some good vets working there from time to time, but they rarely last more than year since they leave as soon they get a better job. You are much better seeking a different vet if you love your pet.
Front desk ladies are very friendly and patient. Line can get a bit long so expect a wait and wev never met our dog's vet which I guess is normal.
Took my new cat Peaches here for the first time Monday. She hadn't been eating since I'd gotten her Saturday night, and come to find out needed surgery. Dr. Phillips examined her, and explained what she needed with clarity, professionalism and kindness. Thanks to the team's guidance, I was able to get Peaches the emergency care she needed and she is recovering now. I am deeply grateful for the whole staff's care and will use Banfield again.
They are a wonderful staff and take good care of all of our fur-babies.
I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! I took my cat to banfield around 2 months ago.. I had an appointment yet waited for a while to get a service then the lady comes out and answer every call she gets and ignore my presence! Then they took my -flea treated- cat and ever since we came back she was itching. She caught fleas from there and infected my other 3 cats and dog! This place cost me so much I had to get rid of everything I've ever purchased my furniture carpets everything. I spent so much money and time on trusted treatments, pills sprays and I clean three times a day and wash everything everyday yet I'm writing this review hopeless in a literally empty apartment and problem yet not solved only because I trusted this place to take care of my cat!
