I went there at 4:30pm on Saturday and they were closed. Change your hours if you're not going to be open
If your looking for a waterbed and you come across this place, do yourself a favor and run away. When the person you want to give your hard earned money too gets angry for asking questions, then they are not worth your time. This place clearly doesn’t give a hoot about a customer. If I’m spending several thousand dollars I’m dang sure gonna ask some questions and if you don’t have the heuvos to answer them then you just keep your beds and I’ll take my money somewhere else!
We chose this waterbed store because it's listed as the biggest waterbed store in Phoenix and the #1 waterbed store in Phoenix. Arrived on a Saturday at 11:30am. The store opened at 11am so we figured we had good timing. We arrive to see a couple waiting outside the store; they had been waiting since before the store was supposed to open. The store is closed, with a faded sign in the window saying "We are at the warehouse, call this phone number". I did, they said they would be back in twenty minutes. We drove an hour to get here so we figured we would wait. Forty minutes later, they show up to open the store. We walk inside and they have none of the furniture that's pictured on their website. They had 4 waterbeds max, a couple sets of sheets for waterbeds, and regular mattresses. The furniture sets they did have were old and outdated. Terrible waste of a Saturday.
Before you shop there check this out. I was there just after the first of this year. The man working there appeared to be the owner and of Mediterranean? origin. I only say that so you will recognize who it is. Not a happy or friendly guy. I went in to get a WB liner. He showed me two liners, a standard and heavy duty. They were both over priced compared to what I had seen on the web but I decided that I would get the heavy duty and be done with it. It was almost &100 with a bottle of conditioner at 24??? WTF. I needed to get my bed set up and didn't have cash so I used my Visa card. There was no point of service terminal at the desk so he took my card and ran it through one of those old 70's style roller printers. Can you see where this is going? I took my stuff and went home, out of town. The first thing I noticed when I went to set up my bed was that the liner was the standard cheapy one, not the heavy duty. Then the real fun part started. When the charge showed up on my Visa it came side to side with a charge from an internet auto accessory store in New Jersey. An 8.85 charge so I think that it was a test charge so that the card is proven and the number can be sold on the hacker market. I caught all this early so the real grief was contesting the charge, shutting down the old card, setting up the new one and transferring all of my existing bill pays to the new number. Who knows, it could have been an unfortunate co-incident but I don't think so. Spare yourself the grief. I only wish there was another grade below Poor to Fair, way below.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I purchased a waterbed frame and mattress from this company and wish I would have read the reviews and did more research before going through with the purchase. The gentleman that approached me and did the sale was very nice. I have a feeling he was the owner. He helped me with the choices and what I would need. He said he would upgrade me on the waterbed heater because he didn’t have the one that goes with the bed in stock, didn’t happen. I was told that the headboard I was getting had the electrical hole to put cords through, wasn’t there. The headboard has a cubby with a door cover, it’s so badly warped it wouldn’t close. We did purchase the upgraded mattress (Innomax Genesis 700 Semi Waveless Waterbed Mattress for 599) It didn’t come with instructions on how much to fill and other specs. So I went online to find out. You can get this EXACT same mattress from Walmart, Sears, Wayfair… and others for 224. When I called on the phone to complain (it was the same guy)… he said he wanted me to bring the door cover back and argued with me about the cord hole.…. He knows I live over 100 miles away. I told him about the heater not being the upgraded one. He said “Sorry, nothing I can do”. I told him about the mattress price difference… (I expected a bit of a price increase due to him having to make money… but 377 more) he tried to explain to me by using perfumes as an example…. stating that if you go to a department store to get your perfume you will pay more, while online you will pay less.. I told him of all the stores (Wal-mart, Sear, little mom and pop shops online) that you can purchase the exact same mattress for 224…. He wouldn’t help me at all, he just wanted to argue like the other 2 reviews tell of. Please don’t give him your money, he will just rip you off, and when you need help or have a complaint, he will blow you off. Not happy, VERY BAD customer service!!!
We drove over 1 1/2 hours to get there and the store was closed even so it states on the website that it opens at 11am. I was told to come back on Monday--We wasted 3hrs today --I will never drive back
Thank God for reviews. If you listen to them and consider you will save yourself a lot of issues.Thank you all for saving me money, time, and energy
