The only reason I'm still here is because of Heather. They treated me while I was away at college. I would see a therapist every time I returned home (only like four times a year) and it was a different therapist every time with just an intake appointment. No point in therapy. They literally do not care at all about their patients. Do not get therapy here unless it's with Heather, I don't recommend. If I could leave less than a star, I would.

Initially, I was excited to have finally located both counseling and medication management services in New Britain. For the past 6 years, I have been taking a bus to East Hartford to obtain my prescriptions and looked forward to simply walking to my appointments from my apartment. However, I did not realize that (at least) at the New Britain office, services are extremely limited. The prescribing APRN is only available once per month and even those that schedule her appointments do not know what day she will choose to be at this location. Also, I have had several counselors over the past 30 years, but this was the first time a \professional\ attempted to compare my issues to those she personally experienced within her family. The last time I went I chose to speak of the overwhelming guilt I felt in relation to my father's death. Yet instead of further exploring my reasoning, she chose to equate my inability to forgive myself with \Divine Intervention.\ Really?! This type of comment has no place in what should be a therapeutic setting.
