It was a little bit of a wait to even enter. While there was a buzzer to alert whomever was supposed to take care of the entrance, it appeared to me they were not alert. It has very nice lighting in the lobby and it appeared clean. The conference room was big but it was not a very nice. There was little to make it look good. There was just nothing to make it inviting and visually pleasing.

I quite enjoyed this place. The price was reasonable for the quality. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Electric outlets were easy to access. The shower was very nice, with excellent shampoo and soap in plentiful amounts, great water pressure and great hot water. The AC unit worked well, and the space was nice. The lobby area was very nice, and even had a bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a fair-sized 24 hour shop for snacks and necessities. However, parking was 12 a day (most locations parking is free, but downtown locations tend to cost) and breakfast was not included (some locations breakfast is included). The only other negative I'd have is that it's not exactly like Waterbury is a sprawling city. It's a mostly downtrodden small urban area that could really use some development but otherwise not too bad. So to me, this location does not warrant downtown prices.

Been staying here for over a month & have gotten to know the place very well - reasonable prices (around the same price as much less nicer hotels in the area, which I thought was crazy); very lovely & helpful staff; nice & clean rooms; good food at restaurant below. Only issues are paying for parking (2/hr, up to 12/day) & no complementary breakfast - breakfast is only for top paying rooms.. Definitely have been enjoying my stay here & have recommended to others to stay at this hotel..

Update: After I got a response from the owner, the floor the following day still smelled like cigarette and weed smoke. On our last day checking out, fire alarm went out. Surprise! Surprise! Original review: This hotel used to be good. They fixed up the rooms since my last stay but it has become a party spot. When we checked in, there was a guy exposing himself in the lobby. The next night there was several fights all night long into the early morning hours outside the front door. Elevators stunk like weed. Hallways smelled like cigarettes. There was a party on our floor and it got really loud. The Starbucks in the hotel isn't a true Starbucks. It's fun by the hotel staff. Stay away if you're traveling with kids. Addition: people were sleeping all over the lobby floor one night.

Have been staying here for a couple months now & have gotten to know the staff very well & they are a lovely group of people to “live with.” As lovely as the staff & rooms are, we’ve unfortunately run through many issues with our reservations & using our points - & have especially had more than a few problems with how the hotel charges us.. I went crazy one day running around Waterbury to make sure that I deposited enough money & paid for our stay in time - just to find out a few days later that they ran my card, but hadn’t even charged me for that night, & ended up charging me a couple days later for more than one night - which I did not have enough money for because I was only supposed to be charged for 1 night days ago, & so I overdrafted my account.. & there has been numerous situations like that since - the running of a card one day & charging of a different amount days later, with no notice... We’ve FINALLY gotten a good system down though since - thanks to the sales manager, Azanya, who has been absolutely nothing but wonderful, patient, & accommodating to us during those hectic situations..! There were/are also other desk employees who have been very helpful & patient with us as well & have been very understanding about our situation & how we need to pay.. All in all, this hotel is a lovely place to stay - but I do suggest that if you’re planning to stay more than a few days, make sure to keep track of your charges as they go through to avoid any unintended discrepancies..
