We have had this unit (SP3012) installed under both of our lav sinks for the past 12 years and it was a waste of our money. Easy install, but we have not had even warm water since the installation. We have called tech support almost annually (and even requested replacements) but have yet to be able to get hot water from these units.

I have to agree with the one star reviews Will not stand behind their product. I am a struggling small business owner during COVID who had a faulty unit installed 2 years ago. Never had hot water, never needed it until now. Over the one year parts warranty. Too bad, on you.

Awesome place, great service. The Falafel is the best!

The other reviews on google have nothing to do with the product. One of them even turns into an ad for a competitor. Eemax is a great company with great products.

As a customer of this company for over 10 years, I will never use or sell their products ever again! We are a wholesale plumbing supply that purchased an EX190TC instant water heater for one of our customers. Upon installing this unit, the customer found it to be a defective unit. Another was ordered and installed. The same problem. The unit was leaking internally due to manufacturer defect. Finally another one was ordered and installed with the exact same problem, only not as bad. Still leaking though. My manufacturers rep firm said for the contractor to make a labor bill and it would be covered 100%. My contractor submitted a labor bill for 300.00. This is a contractor that used HIS truck, HIS gas, HIS business license, HIS plumbing license, HIS insurance (luckily not needed with the defective units), HIS labor and HIS materials each time to replace the unit. Considering his truck probably gets 8MPG and was 80 miles roundtrip from his shop to the job, I found this to be VERY reasonable. 5 months later after getting the run around, Eemax said they cannot cover the full 300.00, but they can pay 150.00. I would not recommend using this company's products AT ALL! THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS WHATSOEVER! I would strongly recommend using another company other than Eemax for your point of use water heater needs. I will no longer be using them on any of my future jobs.

I purchased an Eemax tankless water heater which lasted about 90 days. I was able to get them to replace that one which lasted less then 90 days. After filing a complaint I was able to get a refund and purchased another tankless unit from EcoSmart just to find out it was the same company and lasted 80 days before almost catching on fire. They sell defective units and do not honor any of their warranties. So beware and don't purchase any water heaters from this company. There parent company is Rheem and I have good experiences with their units in the past and thought these would be good also but was horribly mistaken. Please do your research there are a lot of negative reviews on this company out there and I see why.

I give eemax one star because there is no way to give less. I purchased one of their tankless electric water heaters to replace an older tankless and was extremely disappointed with the results. The unit was purportedly a 'whole-house' unit but, in truth, was nothing more than an overpriced Point of Use unit. It provided lukewarm water at a rate of about 1.25 GPM when it was supposed to be able to provide double that in actual hot water under adverse conditions (cold climate). The situation was further exacerbated by Kevin, the "customer service" person with whom I spoke. He was rude, argumentative, condescending, and dismissive. More than once he insinuated that I was not smart enough to comprehend the intricacies of a tankless water heater (He conveniently ignored the fact that I have been using tankless for many, many years now and this would have been my third such unit!) I drove 100 miles round trip to purchase this water heater and am now faced with driving another hundred to return it, which means I am out the price of a tank of gas on top of the time spent dealing with this issue. I will say, however, that, upon discovering the inadequacies of the eemax water warmer, I immediately determined to find a better one... and did. I have since installed another brand - a company with more than sixty years in the business and one of the original innovators in the tankless water heater concept. IT works even better than advertised, heating water HOT at a rate of 4 GPM under adverse conditions for two showers, a dishwasher, and running water in a sink all at the same time! Can't wait to see what it does when summer gets here. As for Eemax? I truly regret ever purchasing their product and would not recommend them either for product or customer service for ANYONE!
