It’s disheartening to say this company has a racism and discriminatory issue in its “buffing department” but it truly does. The supervisor Wayne “employed for 30years” has been reported and suspended on multiple occasions for using racial and ethnic slurs in the work place and has only been suspended on several occasions. Length of time at a workplace should never give an employee the opportunity to speak down or use racially charged language with co-workers but at Eyelet Crafters of Watebrury they have allowed this injustice for over 30 years. I truly am sorry for the every day struggle all the minority men and women that have worked in the buffing department have gone through over the years. For the men and women that need work and need to “put up” with this because a lack of knowledge or just the need for a “paycheck” I’m sorry. Speak out. EEOC and CHRO have been put on notice.
