It's ok place to stay. The receptionist and all the employees are cool and friendly. The pool was closed due to covid19 and the breakfast was to grab and go with very limited choices

Very straight forward hotel with clean rooms and decent customer service. However, housekeeping staff are very aggressive on check out day and there isn't a convenience shop at this location. As a diamond member who travels often, having access to a convenience shop is vital.

It's a Hampton Inn. It was fine. Quiet room. Nice hotel. You never really can go wrong at a Hampton Inn.

The staff was extremely friendly/curteous. But in terms of suiting specific needs to customers, they will not budge on strict room hold authorizations. They wouldn't even take cash for the hold even after pleading with them and letting them know I was going through an emergency situation without sleep for two days.

I honestly wasn't expecting much of this hotel because of the location but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice EVERYTHING turned out to be. The room was on par with other hampton rooms I've stayed at, in more expensive areas, I was in town to collect my deceased father's effects and brought to the room a GIANT box of things to be sorted, re-boxed and mailed home. The staff was incredibly helpful ESPECIALLY Pedro! Pedro If you read this, please know I'll never forget how kind you were to me! Bless you!

I decided to stay in this hotel since there was no electricity at my place and I must say I was so impressed by their customer service! I am so glad I found this hotel! I did not regret choosing this hotel because their services were so great!

5 Tips for Hampton Inn Waterbury The only safe hotel in Waterbury. Other hotels in Waterbury are in bad neighborhoods. The rooms overlooking the interstate are very noisy. Ask for a room on the other side of the building if you don’t want to hear trailer trucks wizzing by all night. Bed was very comfortable but pillows were either too flat or too hard. You might have to request better ones. Pool is closed due to COVID but may reopen in early 2021. Breakfast is limited to cereal, coffee, juice. Check Priceline for great deals before booking direct.

1. Unlike other Hilton properties, they demand a deposit, which means you have to pull out a credit card and waste time even if you are a Gold member 2. They advertise a “whirlpool” room for an extra 50 which turns out to just be a regular bathtub with a few jets. Rip off. 3. Hotel itself is slightly less new than most Hilton properties (frayed rugs, old phones, closet door that won’t shut) but it is still at the Hilton level of cleanliness.
