The employees at w.h.a need serious attitude adjustments. Why do they give everyone the same apointment times,so you have to wait more than 45 min to be seen? Would be nice if whome ever in charge would retrain thier employees to be more courteous and kind. A little more diversity would go a long way also . There are no African American employees that work there,why is that? The city of Waterbury needs to do better!

If you have to make a payment to the housing dpt,make sure that you document and also take a photo of your check ,or money order or you just may be told that your payment was never recived!! There have been many times that I had to call and leave messages,problem is no one ever calls you back. I've also had to go into the office and was meet with such disrespect from some of thier staff members who clearly do not know how to communicate well, and seem to have terrible attitudes . Just found out that the utility payments were not being applied or sent to the light company on my behalf,so,where are the checks ? I smell Fraud.

All i can say is that, my property manager is a very wonderful and patient person, she treats all her tenants with respect, always returns back phone calls, she definitely deserves a promotion! I love her, i been here in truman apts, for 4 yrs and she's always up to taking care of her tenants!! Thank you caroline and WHA for having and giving us such a dedicated person, to manage my area, she does her best and is very understanding and work with the tenants, to make sure we are comfortable in our facility!! Big respects due to you caroline..thank you much!! Clara

Been in the section 8 program for the past 6 years Never had any problem with any of the staff or workers the very friendly especially my caseworker ..who is always a sweetheart shout out to Jasmine beautiful young woman

I called Waterbury Housing Authority for some suggestions for my family that was involved in a fire & had to move out due to damage to their apartment. It’s several weeks later & I still haven’t received a call back, it’s a shame how members of the community that lived in Waterbury all their lives cannot receive assistance at the least a callback in their time of need.

The housing authority treats people as if they are below them, and they always seem to miss your paper work..... They also can have terrible attitudes.

i feel like the old woman in the 90s commercial... \ive fallen and i cant get up\ its like there is no way out. there is so much i want to say about WHA but i live here and kinda dont want them to treat me any more worse then they do. all i can say is that i will be at the next town hall meeting...
