I had a wonderful experience with EMPS in Waterbury for my daughter when she was struggling with school. Very helpful and understanding.

Waste of time. I made an appointment in a week advance to have an in person intake. Which is only early mornings. I took my daughter out of school and took a day off from work to go to this appointment to sit there for 2 hours , for them then to tell me all of the therapists are busy and I would have to do a phone meeting or reschedule for the following week. Which I would then have to take my daughter out of school again to do this process all over again. You would need a therapist just to deal with these people.

I personaly have loved this place since i started about 6 and a half years ago it saved my life and never had a problem with any of the clinicians or doctors everyones been really great and respectful helped me out with alot of tough and troubling times and greatfully appreciate everything everyones done 4 me alot a great people and awesome staff actually still attending services through them on w main st in waterbury still because without them id b dead or in jail

After thorough review, I have CONCLUDED WHY they don't adversarily approach parents that are not concerned, & do with parents that are concerned. The REASON it power. They have power over loving parents because they do care very much about their children; unlike a parent that is not concerned. In addition, many of the social workers are young with little life experience; nor families of their own. As a result, they abuse this authority.
