This is by far my favourite bookstore, I would go out of my way to visit Pickwick! There is something comforting and quaint about the atmosphere of the store, and they always have an outstanding selection. Although it seems small, you could easily browse for hours. The staff is helpful if you can't find what you're looking for, and I was also very impressed by their COVID protocols (hand sanitizer when you walk in, and locked the door after 4 people were in the store to maintain social distancing). Will definitely be back soon.

A nice quaint place, with a community friendly credit system, a wide variety of books, and very friendly and helpful staff, and very quiet. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who is looking for a quick book read for a very low price for gently used books. 4.5 Stars

It was a great experience! Lovely shop, organized, with a plethora of selection from various publishers! Found a beautiful copy of Dostoevsky, \Crime and Punishment.\ I will most certainly return when I'm in the city!

I had the pleasure today of visiting this charming little shop in the heart of “olde” Waterdown. Brenda was most helpful in finding a hardcover title that I was looking for plus another by the same author. Both were in excellent condition and well priced. I’ll be back for sure! Better to support a small local business than the high priced chain stores. Thanks, Brenda!

I've driven passed Pickwick Books for years and I finally gave in to curiosity and went in. It will not be the last time. The shelves are packed full of every kind of book you could imagine - I could have spent hours there and only scratched the surface! It feels cozy and eccentric and the staff are amazingly helpful. Don't keep driving by this jem!
