If you like to hunt for treasures, you'll love this place. Plenty of diamonds in the rough, unfortunately plenty of rough though. Definitely worth going in for a look. Great place to bring your donations as well, add this is a non profit.

Place looks like it is falling down and is very grubby and dingy. Shelves very dusty and floor was dirty. Weird and illogical arrangement of goods and lots of stuff that properly belongs in the garbage which is trotted out at excessive prices. Pricing is all over the place. Staff look miserable and permanently browned off, and there is an oppressive atmosphere of hostility. Not exactly a welcoming place! I've heard that these 'Salvation Army' stores are actually run by a shadow organization which just uses the Salvation Army logo as a front of respectability and brand recognition to gull the public into thinking it is a charity. Apparently the executives and middle management draw huge salaries and most are not Christians. It is certainly true that Inside these stores there is little indication of Christianity. I think I saw a token Bible. It leads me to think the so-called 'Salvation Army' is as much a Christian organization as your local fast food restaurant.
Great store! They have tonnes of inventory, you could easily spend hours and hours in here hunting for treasure! It's in a convenient location and the staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get there thrift on! There's something to be found in this store for everyone! What are you waiting for??
I went into the Waterdown location awhile ago and was served by a very rude employee, who kept making attempts to get me to engage in personal conversation with her, even though I made it clear I had no interest in this. She also made snide and condescending comments about what I was buying. No customer should have to put up with this kind of invasive, disrespectful treatment so I made a complaint to Nicole at Head Office and was pretty much told that nothing would be done about it. Obviously they care more about their employees than the customer. This is the only store chain that constantly and aggressively solicits handouts and donations every time you shop there so you think they would treat the customers better. I wish them luck surviving as most of the stuff in these stores is damaged and dated and overpriced. Will NEVER be back.
It is good to support the Salvation army. More money goes to the people who need it than the other "thrift" stores
Clean and organize store. Good quality of clothing and accessories. Good customer service.
Hello lovely people, I would like to say THANK YOU for coming along for the ride while I was the manager of the Waterdown salvation army thrift store. It was so exciting to see how we had became successful and flourished like a 'cherry blossom tree' firmly planted and well watered, growing strong roots in the community ;) We could not have done this without our loyal guests...YOU!
Overall it's organized to find what you're looking for pretty quickly. Prices are reasonable on most items.
