Is always been a great experience shopping here. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Incredible inventory and this as close to wholesale as it gets. I've traveled a lot and when I needed something the online service the same as being in the store. Their very Covid-19 safe and work hard to keep everyone safe here. Sometimes things can wrong, however the management was very quick to take responsibility and replaced the product hassle free.

Good inventory, knowledgeable staff and fair prices
I wanted to order a new life jacket for my grandsons birthday. The one pictured was purple, yet the description said aqua, and the mfr does make an aqua one. So I called them to verify what color it was. I believe I spoke with Dave, who punched in the number and told me yes it is aqua and his words were, “the picture means nothing”. But I receive a purple jacket. I call Dave, he’s shocked, he remembers my call, says they will rectify, just send a picture. I do. I get a response from Judi with a little arrow pointing to the tiny part of the jacket which is aqua. And she tells me, basically I made a mistake and now I can go through the trouble of returning. Meanwhile I don’t have what I was told which is an aqua jacket for my grandson by his birthday. So much for honoring your word.
I've been shopping here for over 20 years and refer every new boater as well, great prices, great customer service. I'm hoping their going to have a spring sale this year last year we really missed it.
I bought a Webasto Basics 20 gallon water heater in September of 2018, installed it a few months later. Right away it had a small, pinhole water leak in a weld. The overheat tripped constantly. The upgraded element kit didn’t include the gaskets. Defender was slow to respond, but they did get my missing gaskets for me. When I replaced/upgraded the element, I discovered that my heater was manufactured 5 years before I bought it...YES, 5 years! Then I discovered rust on the original element connections. Defenders response, contact Webasto. Webasto’s response, crickets. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Stay away from Defender and Webasto. Webasto products are junk (I also have a Webasto diesel heater that craps out way more than it should). And Defender appears to get their products from closeout/liquidations, hence why their prices are cheap - but they pass off the products as “new” because, technically a 5 year old product that may not have been used, just sitting around rusting, is “new” to them.
