If you have ANY other option when it comes to a referral... please take it. This should be a last choice, and even then, might be worth it driving or finding a way to a different sleep lab. I had my appointment May 1st, 2018, and have yet to receive my results. That is 8 months of waiting. The kicker is I need these results before an ENT will see me, which makes me even more frustrated. My doctors office as well as myself have called the sleep clinic on multiple occasions requesting the results and the urgency of them, but to no avail. I understand they have gone through new management as of recent, but patient results should be priority... don’t take on appointments if you can’t follow through with the whole process, the actual sleep test and the interpretation of the results. I was told 4 weeks, not 8 months. Anyway, the beds were comfy, and the staff relatively nice... if that counts.

my referral was made when I was in grade 12. they contacted me for a consultation appointment the summer after my second year of college. they made me drive 3 hours after a 16 hour night shift just to tell me my results were negative and theirs nothing they can do. the receptionist had a very cold demeanor when I called to question why they couldn't have given me the results over the phone. the lab in Paris however, a lot better. that's where I had the actual study done and my expiernece there was amazing compared to my expierneced with Waterloo. 1 star is being generous
This 1star is being very generous. In 2016, i had a sleep study completed and received those results over a year later. This year, March 26, 2019, i had another sleep study completed . Today is June 27, 2019 and still no results! Do i have to wait until 2020 to receive these results? Shameful. I was informed that i should have my results within a months time as more Drs were hired for the clinic. This is highly unlikely. Should i require more sleep tests down the road, which will happen, I will be informing my family physician I will not return to the Allen Square Sleep Clinic!
It is sad that this lab is still able to operate. Why isn’t the government doing anything to address the poor quality of care? It is unacceptable that they continue to waste our taxpayer dollars. I wouldn't believe their excuses that they are under new management. I understand it is the same people always involved and it appears all they care about is their own interests and not patients.
Absolutely NOT SURPRISED to come here and find such a poor rating for this business. Only giving one star as zero isn't an option. Here’s my experience with them. 1 - Booked an appointment which they cancelled about 2 hours before the appointment. “Oh I hope you haven’t left yet”. But I get it, things do happen with staffing. 2- Wanted me to come in and go to bed at 8:30 and be woken up at 5:30. Not sure how you would study someone having sleep issues on these hours that are not even CLOSE to the hours I would sleep. 3 - I rebooked the appointment but had to cancel for a personal conflict. I never rebooked the appointment as my doctor said I didn't require it anymore. 4 - Fast forward almost a year later and I get 2 voice mails while on vacation trying to confirm a consultation appointment 4 days in advance. Second voice mail was very RUDE - \Several messages have been left for you to try and confirm this\. Umm exactly 1 message had been left before that and I wasn't available and by the way NEVER booked the appointment at all. 5 - I returned the call and let my info even though, as I mentioned, I never even booked the appointment. I assumed they mixed my file with someone elses or something. 6 - Received a call back telling me that yes that appointment would have been automatically booked when I booked my initial appointment for the sleep study. Well nobody ever INFORMED me of this appointment. Plus if I had never actually done a sleep study - why would I have needed a followup? 7 - Pointing these things out however got me nowhere with the RUDE person on the phone who kept talking over me and telling me how they had tried MULTIPLE times to rebook with me and MULTIPLE times to call me. Basically deflection for their error. As I said to her - SO GLAD I NEVER ENDED UP BEING A PATIENT THERE.
