Its my go to spot once a month. The shop is owner managed so its nice to be greeted by familiar faces. The food comes out quick no matter how big the line ups for takeout are. Portions are generous and they serve customers with a smile.

Ordered wonton soup. Pork was raw inside so I gave them a call. They said microwave it for a minute and go to a hospital if I get sick.. lol food safety should be prioritized no matter what. Will be reporting to public health.
China Garden restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant in the Waterloo Region. It provides good value, food is tasty and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Overall not a bad chinese restaurant. If you found the food at China Bowl (on King Street) too salty, this place would definitely be a good place to try it out. The price is reasonable. Their congee is not bad.
If I could leave no stars I would. Ordered through the door dash delivery service for a large family (order totaling over 120), a member of the family has shell fish allergies and can have severe allergic reactions. We specified on every item of the order (none of these items typically come with shell fish) that there was a shell fish allergy. When we received the order, several dishes had shrimp, and the beef broccoli that we ordered had completely raw beef. To say the least, most of the food was inedible and someone could have had a reaction or fallen ill if we didn't spot the shell fish (shrimp) or raw beef in time. We will not be supporting this business again and I urge you to check your order and be extremely specific if you, or a member of your family have an allergy. While it is always risky ordering take out if you have an allergy, if you specify that someone has a shell fish allergy and shell fish is deliberately put in dishes that normally do not contain shell fish, that is a very questionable action. Please take shell fish and other allergies seriously, someone could have been hurt by this incident.
