Pros: Very nice superintendent. Reasonable price for rent. Lots of parking available. Close to a reasonable amount of amenities. Cons: There are a lot of sketchy people who live in this building. If you live on the backside of the building, there is a large playground that is part of a low income/subsidized housing complex. Be prepared to listen to children screaming all year long. The cost of hydro here is outrageous (as high as 400 every 2 months). If you're frugal you can get by at about 160 every 2 months. This means no heating/air conditioning, and being conscious of unplugging other appliances/tech that doesn't need to be plugged in. Each unit has a full size water heater, and the temperature control is blocked by metal paneling ( this is likely a large cost of electricity alone). If you have your oven higher than 350, and you open the oven door it will set the fire alarm off. Prepare to open the door, remove your food and quickly run to the smoke alarm waving a towel underneath it.
