I just left there now and beyond disappointed and feel robbed. I rented an SUV for this long weekend in Montreal, and bought 1 day insurance since my personal insurance will kick in the next day. I was told to go to Ottawa for a visual inspection to make sure nothing has happened to the car. I went to Ottawa but all their location were closed, they were closed before noon. It was a 2 hours 21 minutes drive from my hotel in Montreal to Ottawa. I went back to my hotel and couldn’t make the trip the next day because of the distance. Their office hours in Ottawa were very odd too. When I returned the car, there was no damage to it and the manager was insisting I pay the insurance for the rest of the days I drove the car. I told her that I can’t because my insurance already kicked in and nothing happened to the car. She threatened me that she will take it off my security deposit. I explained to her again about how hard it was driving to Ottawa 2 days in a roll for 2 hrs 21 mins one way. She was reluctant and insisted that I should not waste her time. This was beyond unprofessional and wicked. I want to give zero star but I can’t. I would not be coming back here and I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. It was my first time there and the experience was horrible. I will follow up with the corporate office because this is unacceptable. Do not rent the GMC SUV or any GMC car, I spent almost 300 worth of gas in 3 days driving that gas guzzler. Actually, do not go to this location for any rental, very rude set of people.

Great staff and service. Their prices were more economical before the pandemic. You need to take the car for the whole weekend, even if you need it only for one day! The cars are somehow new and in good condition.
Every time I've reserved a truck online i get a confirmation email. Every time they call the next day and say they're out of stock. The online system doesn't have current inventory so every time I've been stuck looking for a truck last minute. Worst reservation system ever.
Staff very efficient. Minivan was clean and well maintained.
Friendly staff, though understaffed at time I arrived to pick up my rental. Rates sometimes half of what big name competitors offer. I had booked a full sized car. Discount provided me a free upgrade to any SUV on the lot, which included a wide variety of choices. Vehicle had very low km. Discount does require you to bring your whole insurance policy if you're not purchasing their loss damage waiver. So be prepared, and be sure your policy has a non-owned vehicle rider.
