This is the sad reality of Domus and their ability to fix problems. These are pictures of my room when I entered my room for the first time in September. The other rooms in my suite were in a similar condition. There was a checklist left on the kitchen counter claiming that a thorough cleaning of everything was done. There was dust and it was overall dirty everywhere. The walls had writing on them and paint missing. Burn marks and other dirt on the carpet as if nobody had vacuumed in a year. Domus tells tenants that each room is cleaned and to bring supplies in to clean on top of that. This room was simply in an unacceptable condition when moving in. I had to spend my own money to rent a carpet cleaner and shampoo which Domus would not compensate for. I had to replace the lightbulb myself since they couldn't do that either. Thanks to their \cleaning\ there was food leftover in the fridge and cupboards along with garbage which gave home to the fruit flies that we had to deal with for a significant amount of time. After 1 visit to their office, 3 calls, and multiple emails, I am taking action with this review to warn other potential tenants to not lease with Domus unless you want to get empty promises. This happened in September 2018 and it is now January 2019 with no change on the status of my room. Save yourself and rent with someone better.

I reached out the res serv team when I first moved into my apartment regarding a few minor repairs and received an immediate response and prompt action from their team. I was super impressed with Jenna on the maintenance team. She was really quick to respond and super friendly! Would recommend Domus to my family and friends!
Domus is a strong service provider that optimizes my investors' return on investment through excellent marketing, timely and personable customer service, and cost-effective property management. They have a tough job and do very well at it. I recommend Domus property management to all of my clients.
Lindsay was very helpful explaining the entire lease process and was willing to answer all of our questions thoroughly. As a first time renter it was confusing at first, and Domus was able to make the process smooth and seamless. I would definitely recommend renting with Domus!
You might look at this and think that one star is very harsh, but I think it's fair to be harsh when dealing with your home. DOMUS was the most incompetent company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Empty promise after empty promise. If you like being treated like a jerk, then by all means, rent from domus. It took over 7 months to get our recycling taken out. They believed that we weren't paying our rent properly (even though we were) and didn't say anything for SIX months! That means they expected 6 months worth of rent with a month. They didn't proofread their emails and were very unclear on their procedures. Save yourself headaches. Don't rent with domus. It would be better if they had let us manage the building instead... Maybe then stuff would get done EDIT: Thankfully, our building was bought by a different company, and we are no longer with DOMUS. the improvement in care was noticed immediately. I'm also going to add some photos as to how the recycling bins looked for multiple weeks.
