I love this store. It has a great location and selection of vegan foods, which is what keeps me coming back. The staff are very friendly and helpful. (Seriously, so great!) They employ super rad community members. My only complaint is that the prices aren't accessible. I understand from a business standpoint, and recognize the high quality product, but as a consumer and individual without a lot of cash, I'm not into it. I usually just grab a few specialty items when I go in. Check it out if you want to support local business, have dietary restrictions, like high quality food, or choose natural or organic products :)

Yesterday I stopped in to EWO for a snack while in uptown Waterloo. I was greeted warmly by two staff who offered to assist with my needs. We chatted for a while about the affects of the construction, business in general and about several products on their shelves and some that aren't. The owner, said that she'd take a look at some that I had recommended as she too believes that they may be a good choice for the store. Overall, I am always pleased with the staff and their willingness to help and to listen to the customer. I was given a small 2017 wellness calendar. I just looked through it and it's full of excellent resources. Thanks for this unexpected gift. The recommended protein bar that I ate for my snack was an excellent pick. See you again soon.
This is my usual health food store. I never do a big shop there but there are some things like bouillon cubes and organic raisins that I always always buy there. (And somehow the bouillon cubes have remained 6/2 for the past 8 years!) I love that they have lego for the kids to play with and the people there especially the manager are always friendly and nice.
Great staff and wonderful products. They have a surprising selection for the size of the store including nice produce. I go out of my way often to pick up... Dark chocolate covered almonds, hand made halva, affordable eggs, vegan parmasan, fair trade bananas, and so much more!
After 20 years of hard work and dedication and no longer willing to sustain the carnage to her business caused by the LRT construction, loss of parking, and the ease of deliveries, Eileen has closed her store and retired. To all the loyal customers, and hard working staff, a huge heartfelt thank you.
This store's selection is sparse and what they do have is ridiculously overpriced. Terrible customer service and a hostile atmosphere on top of that. Save yourself the hassle and money and go to the farmer's market instead. You'll have a much better experience.
Shopped here for many years - always loved the quality of the foods and helpfulness of staff.
Great selection, and they have herbs and spices that you don't see many places.
