Working through an advisor, I've owned a policy with them for the past 3 years. Never had any problems, company has been around for over 100 years, and Equitable Life are the ones administrating my policy. Can't go wrong there.

It is important to let all people know that when you give Equitable access to automatically withdraw money from your account, they can, and in our case did, increase the amount significantly without our authorization. After a lot of effort on our part they attempted to brush us off by giving one fifth of what they owe us, suggesting they were doing it in 'good faith' but we will not stop until we get all they owe us. Beware people! I will update when I get back all the money they stole from us.
