Will update review once I get clarification on what happened, but... I put an order for vegetarian box during regular business hours, on the website. At no point, was I informed, that the store was closed. I was given a pickup time. I paid. I went to the store to pick up at that time. No one was there. Lights out. Why do you take money and accept orders while you're closed? Quality of professionalism is questionable. We love your patties but this needs work. Please shut down the order taking while you're closed. Giving you money for unfulfilled orders leaves a sour taste in the mouth, no matter how good the food is. Giving up time and money to be disappointed by a closed shop during advertised hours... Please let me know when this issue is rectified so I can delete this review. I don't want to get a good business closed but... I need to encourage you to be your best selves.

Yesterday I visited the @houseofpatties and tried a mix of their patties. I ordered the box of 12 for 30 and boy was it worth it. I combined a few flavours (jerk chicken, beef - mild and spicy, and ackee and salt fish) They were all VERY delicious I don't think I have a fave - maybe the ackee, the jerk is spicy but thats just how jerk is supposed to be and beef is standard beef. The server was a sweetheart that gave excellent recommendations and great service. Their new location is definitely better than the last spot in Kitchener. Although their sign is not yet ready so it's a bit hard to find but if you look for the balloons on the door, you'll see them in the middle of the building. I highly recommend this spot. It ain't a juicy beef patty but the best I've found in the city so far.
Quality and taste 5/5, but they’re randomly closed and when you go, lights are off and doors locked with no sign even though open light is on, rarely pick up, very hot or miss experience with customer service which is commonly only found in franchises as service varies per location, but in a family owned restaurant this is rare. If you can go when it’s open, once again it’s a 5/5, but my 3 rating reflects how the business operates
Love the patties !! Freshly baked, flaky patties and well seasoned! Very unique and a must try! I bought 3 boxes the other day to give some to my family. What blew my mind is the ackee and saltfish patties... amazing!
