The sushi here is good quality for all you can eat, and the outdoor patio experience in the summer was an amazing experience. The food here is always delicious and there is a wide variety of options so you can bring friends who may not traditionally enjoy sushi-based products. While I do recommend going here if you are sushi fan, the grilled steak as well as the grilled squid are awesome to try. The speed at which the food arrives it’s good and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It is noted that one should definitely come here hungry as it is very tempting to try as many options as possible. The portions are especially good for a group of four, making it easy to try new things.

For sushi and fine seafood lovers.... this is the best place in town. Food, service and really well set up ambiance. Kudos!!!
The food is always great here but the service is not. I'm unsure if it's due to the pandemic dampening worker motivation or what? I've tried multiple times to come here to eat but the last few times they've been booked up. This time around I made sure to call 1 week in advance for a reservation. Today we were expecting to be seated for my reservation only to find out they never wrote it down despite verbal confirmation on the phone. I even confirmed the phone number in my call history with the hostess. I'm bewildered that they did not offer me anything for their obvious error. Tonight I had to find a different alternative for dinner which is harder on a busy Saturday night of nice weather. Going to have to think twice before considering Jinzakaya.
The food is great but the service is horrendous. If I were basing it solely on service I would give a 1. Every time we have gone here the staff has all but thrown our food at us at the table. I understand it's busy, but they are quite rude and unprofessional and very unpleasant when you're placing your order. The first time we went here we were asking about the differences between a few rolls and also asked about the all you can eat option and they didn't want to answer our questions so they kept passing us between servers and then would answer us in very short and rude remarks. The atmosphere is not ideal so we will continue to support them but through take-out orders.
This is a new store of the same Izakaya. They have another one in downtown Kitchener. Same dinner menu no lunch menu. Same style, same menu items, as well as Price. a little bigger than their old place, line is not as long. We went in and got service right away, which is nice considering that we use to wait for 30 min for a seat. Overall a very nice place for Sushi.
Absolutely delicious preparation, and I look forward to having a chance to come here again. If you are a fan of Kinkaku in Kitchener, this is absolutely comparable, and on some of my favourite items, I would say even better. If I could come here all the time, I would. Covid protocols seemed to be taken seriously during the early days of the pandemic, and the outdoor dining seemed to be pretty well fleshed out during the summer season.
They only let us make 3 orders for the entire all you can eat dinner. We were waiting to get a paper slip for our second order but never got it until we asked. The wait for our first order was long and especially since they have a strict time limit it did not work in our favour. Our whole second order didn't even come out, we got a few wrong orders though belonging to other tables. Obviously, we didn't want to order the same dish twice so we waited but then we got our "last call" order. We could barely order anything because most dishes take around 15 minutes to make and it apparently they can not make it because it exceeded the '"last call" rule. So after more time waiting for our dishes (from the second and last order), we were told that the time was up. Funny thing was, as we were told that, one of our orders came in but we could not eat it because our time was up. There was a really nice waiter though but food service could've been a lot better. Also, super expensive for the quality of the service and food. Kinkaku (sister brand) is much better than here but my overall favourite is Sushi Star because you don't get kicked out with a 1h30m time limit. Honestly, felt like writing an exam with how fast you have to eat and order.
All you can eat you want to eat, food comes very quick and is delicious. Make sure to get the beef teriyaki and try out the big hand roll.
