Nickel mind club. Just doubled the fees. Lack of interest on part of coaches who push kids to spend more money on valueless activities and competitions while main training is falling behind. Profit from children nativity and rip off the parents. Terrible low ethics for these peoples who pretend to be educators in search for young talents.

I signed my child up for kids beginner skating lessons, and was so horrified and disgusted by their service that we discontinued after 7 lessons. There was no sign of care from the so called \teachers\ at all. All they did was skating around and if your kids cannot follow up, they are left alone on the ice by themselves. There was one incidence that finally pushed us over the edge. An older child was noticeably bullying others, including my kid, but the staff did not even see it due to total negligence. When other parents and I brought it up to a staff member, another staff (who was not even around before) came and threatened to give our kids a time-out. This kind of victim blaming is absolutely unacceptable, and we strongly advise anyone considering signing up with KWSC to go and see it for themselves. I have lots of videos as proof and I would have uploaded every single one of them if Google allowed it.

My son was enrolled in the Parent/Tot learn to skate program. We attend two lessons and didn't find value in the program as we were expecting more instructor time with the tots. Instead we were pretty much left to sit on the ice with very little instruction. We decided to request a refund and possibly try bringing him back next year when he was a little older. They chose to only refund us 60? So 2 lessons cost me 96.60 each?? We will not be returning next year or any other year to the Kitchener-Waterloo Skate Club.

I signed my child up for beginner classes due to the positive reviews. It turned out to be a terrible experience. Then I realized the 5 star reviews were given by a “friend” of the skating club. (See screenshots) This place is such a SCAM. I strongly encourage you to go for a trial class and observe.

Club was a snakepit... coaches on the take, deliberately slow down your child to make more money from you and play favourites... enough to drive you out of the sport. Advice to parents: DO NOT BE SCAMMED!
