Students completing their MBA at our downtown Toronto campus benefit from our alternating weekend format and may enhance it with the CPA option. Students studying at our Waterloo campus can complete their MBA in a part-time evenings, or full-time format. Strong undergraduates can apply to the Co-op option to gain 8 months of work experience while pursuing their MBA. Eleven fields of specialization are offered within the elective requirement. Innovation is a hallmark at Laurier. The Lazaridis MBA was the first Canadian MBA program to introduce an integrated method of teaching the core courses, and the first school to offer a full-time 1 year MBA. In 2006, we were the first English-based Canadian university to combine MBA with CFA study, and began offering co-op in the full-time MBA. Additionally, our MBA students must complete a not-for-profit practicum emphasizing Laurier's focus on social justice.
