Lee Valley stores are usually great with knowledgeable and willing to help staff. The two times I went to the Waterloo store, I was served by the same person who wasn’t knowledgeable nor interested in helping. That’s too bad, looks like I will have better luck buying online or to another store.

I am a hobby wood worker and this is my candy store. Lee Valley/Veritas products are top notch, and the company takes great pride in their products. The store personnel is as knowledgeable and friendly as they come. We are lucky to have this store in town.
Usually my experiences with Lee Valley products are good, but not this time. I bought and tried using the Marcato Ravioli stamps and was very disappointed. They simply don't work, they are not sharp enough to press through very thin homemade pasta dough and thereby create ragged, uneven edges which then need to be cut with a knife. I tried different ways to make it work but to no avail. Time to go back to using a fork!
Great curb side pickup and all the staff were very pleasent to deal with.
I submitted my order in November and I am still waiting for my order to be completed. I have sent my concerns to customer service without any replies. I would not recommend using the website for ordering products. FYI...I'm still waiting.
