Very disappointing! During the pandemic, our family has made a conscious effort to support restaurants as we understand how difficult this time has been for their businesses. For a family celebration, we decided to place a pick-up order from this Montana's in our neighbourhood. The order was placed at 3:00 pm for a 5:30 pm pick up. Factually, my wife called back at 3:30 pm and made the pick up time for 6:00 pm, giving Montana's three hours to have our order ready. When I arrived at 5:55 pm, I waited until nearly 6:20 for our order to be ready. I'm not sure why they needed nearly three and a half hours to prepare four basic entrees! Upon arriving home, we found that one of our orders was incorrect (an order for chicken fajitas - with NO tortillas!). Being that the food was now getting cold, we ate our mediocre food. Chicken fajitas without the tortillas is not the same, by the way! Montana's, if you want people to support your business during the pandemic, and you want customers to return to your establishment once things re-open, you're going to need to work MUCH HARDER at 1) having orders ready on time, so customers don't have to wait; and 2) ensuring said orders are correct! We will not return to this location. We will not support a business model that clearly has little regard for its customer. Sorry, Montana's - BIG FAIL!

I have to say COViD stinks, returning back to restaurants of late has been completely disappointing. Montana's was no better. Menu options are minimal, the service has obviously taken a hit, seems everywhere I go it's a new server. There's absolutely not a thing to look forward too. I couldn't even order vegetables with a steak as I've done for years, my medium rare steak was pretty well done but taken care of by nice manager. But the cut of \Striploin\ was just about par to a God awefull America's Outback steak houses cuts, like a McDonalds USA steak. It was a minute fry steak, without flavour. Two onion rings! and nearly burnt? Not onions straws like menu stated, coleslaw served in a sauce dish! Too small. Give people something to look forward too!! Spice up the menu options and make it good/worthy if you minimise choices to your customers. The menu reminded me of a road side dive dinner menu. This may not be managment issues so much as a franchise problem. Either way who ever picks up the pace first between these restaurants now a days will likely dominate the market at this stage. Only 2 stars with all the adapted changes, lost three stars because of quality, portions, options.
I like dinning at Montana's. This time I had a sirloin done to my liking with baked potatoe, coleslaw and shrimp skrewres. Very good. Service was quick, fun and polite. I will be back there, for sure!:)
This was a tale of two extremes. We went to Montana's on a Wednesday for their all you can eat ribs. The place was busy and they were really understaffed. We waited about an hour from when we arrived to get our food and only then were we told that they were out of ribs. In my opinion these issues are reflection of poor management. With that said, our server Shawna was amazing. She was pretty much running around the place frantically doing her best to provide a great experience for her customers. She was extremely apologetic and removed the cost of one of our meals to make up for the mistake by management. We were really impressed and wished more waitresses and waiters worked half as hard as Shawna.
