Bad management! Very cold during winter since the heating system is locked to save the utility cost. However, the utility fee increases every year. The manager will never take real actions to help you solve issues. Things won’t change because they don’t have the motivation. The location is great, close to the campus so there are always a lot of potential tenants.

Currently living here as a student. The place is more expensive than the other nearby options but its location is unbeatable due to the vicinity of the Waterloo campus. There is a gym, game room and theater in the building and the apartments are all really nice, especially the ones at the upper levels where the view is really enjoyable.

There is a security guy is one of the most annoying guy I’ve ever met. Don’t know his name, he just have east Europe or Greek accent and grey hair.

Truly terrible place to live, the gym is super loud because some random dude drop weights on the floor every single day, its annoying yet the management have done nothing about it that really helps. Says go talk to the security and security also is rude.You can actually hear the hammering noise on the 20th floor and yet the management pretend nothing happens as usual.Horrible noise insulation. Don't live here, the management simply does not care the quality of living of its tenant.

NOT SAFE to live , management takes no action on anything. The fire alarm was on this afternoon, everyone came down to wait for instruction. However, no security was in the building, management was off during the weekend, they take absolutely no care about tenants safety. Fireman didn't come, everyone waited until the alarm goes off by itself. but the elevator did not work since nobody has the fire key. Went to Blair house to question management, they had no idea what just happened in Fergus House and shows no care by saying its not their responsibility. Well, the elevator is still not working, and this upset me since it is definitely not a cheap place to live in. BTW, my room has a damaged wall that is missing paint, and my bathroom has broken ceramic sink since the first day I moved in, they promised it will be fixed in a month, almost a year past, no action done.

The air conditioning system broke down in our suite. Submitted a maintenance request online at the weekend and received no response. Asked the front desk the following Tuesday or Wednesday (can't remember which day), still no one taking reaction to our request. Asked again on Friday (almost a week since we submitted our maintenance request and it was late June). The front desk said she would contact the person who was responsible for this. A hour later received a message from the front desk saying that a component was broken and they need to order a new one. Now it was 10 days (second Wednesday) after we submitted the request and the air conditioner is still not working. It's mid summer and it takes almost two weeks to repair an air conditioner!! It is like 30C outside and no cooling system!!
