We were so pleased with our service at Sport Chek this spring. We booked a last minute ski trip and decided to hook my daughter up with new skiis and boots. The Tech Matt went out of his way to ensure they were installed and set up in time. Because of the excellent service, we bought an Expensive Smith ski helmet, returned and bought a bicycle , bike helmet and a bunch of other things in the shop. Thanks for the great service! I will come in to get skiis soon!

I called ahead to have my shoes ready for when I arrived which went smooth as they are a slightly different style of shoe so i wanted to try them first. First time in my life that I've been prevented from paying (over 20 min) as both registers waiting on other employees for help. Place definitely needs an overhaul with management and other support staff. I usually like to go in person to buy physical things but customer service isn't a priority here. I'm proud to see this location doesn't need the business when many retail locations are struggling to stay open. Since this occurrence I've purchased my footwear at Walking on a Cloud which i didn't know carried my size in all footwear styles , I'm glad I found somewhere else to shop and will no longer be needing to spend money here :).
I ordered shoes online in the evening. Due to COVID-19, I had to complete either a curb side pickup or delivery option. I got an email the following morning saying that my order was ready. I drove to the store, parked in the pickup spot, and no one answered my 3 separate calls. I spent over 100 on shoes and no one is answering the phone during business hours? Thats laughable. Let's try this again...
I visited this Sport Chek location specifically to look at both hockey sticks and Nike sneakers. I was extremely disappointed by the store's pitiful selection of sticks in stock, as well as their prices. I found several of the same products offered by National Sports here, at a higher price. In the footwear department, I did not find the styles I was intending to try on. I have since found the shoes I was looking for at Foot Locker, as well as several stores online. The convenience of having a sports store connected to a popular shopping centre does not quite outweigh the fact that this location is poorly stocked and offers products not priced competitively.
Terrible place to shop! My son wanted a shirt online to make him feel special during a down point. He found it online after realizing it would take me 90 minutes by bus just one way to get one as the store is to insensitive to just shop it from store to store. It arrived a few days later only to discover it was nothing like the online photo. It was supposed to be a purple plaid flannel shirt. The only thing that was right was it is purple. Taking it back to the store I was informed I do not get my shipping cost back and they were not even interested in why I brought it back nor did they even apologize for the incompetence. Sport Chek in my opinion was deceptive and dishonest with their marketing. They lack empathy they don't make up for the lies and in the end my son is heartbroken and I am out -7.50. DO NOT TRUST THEIR ONLINE ITEMS!!!!
I just bought a new pair of shoes for work. The associate, Andrew, was helpful and knowledgeable. I am a regular shopper and I have several foot issues. Thanks to Sportchek and its staff I have good shoes! Thank you Andrew!!
Called the store to find 2 products that weren't available online & sold out practically everywhere. One of the sales associates Sam went above & beyond to locate these products & ended up finding them! These days it's rare to find great customer service like that over the phone & his willingness to help was greatly appreciated! Thanks Sam
