All expectations were blown away. The location was wonderful, with a lovely entrance, large drive-way, and beautiful backyard, with a small patio and fire pit. We were greeted upon arrival, given a tour of the B&B, and shown to our rooms. Beds were made, and the rooms interior was tastefully done. All rooms were clean, had a neutral scent, and a warm aura. Breakfast was discussed the previous night, and was served hot and ready when we awoke. Coffee and cold food was available 24/7. The price was very reasonable, and the owner; very friendly. 10/10 would stay again.

For the past 2 years I have had the pleasure of staying 2 nights a week at the Waterloo Sugarbush Guest House B&B. It was a welcome break from a long commute. The Siesta, Angelic and Maple rooms feel like home and the Sugar Shack room feels like you are at the cottage. The owners are very welcoming and Sandi prepares fresh food for breakfast such as fruit, banana bread, muffins, scones and my favourite; oats, coconut, and berry cereal. I have met interesting people there such as mathematics professors from Brazil, quantum encryption researchers, and co-op placement agents from UBC, etc... Now that I have moved to Waterloo I will miss staying at the B&B. I highly recommend the Sugarbush B&B. Sincerely, Paul Sullivan
I'm a short term subletter at the Sugarbush B&B and have enjoyed my time immensely. The house is clean and quiet, and the backyard gardens are spectacular. My room is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Kitchener Waterloo area!
To bad, I could stay just one night! I had a warm welcome from Sandi. It's an excellent place to discover Waterloo and it's area! The traveller get best information, it's very clean and the room's equipment inviting you even for a longer stay. By the way: Breakfast is super! Again: Many thank to Sandi!
I stayed in Sugarbush Guest House for 8 nights in august 2012 and I would find it difficult to say something bad about this place. I was in Waterloo for an annual sport event and would be pleased to come back in this B&B next time. There, I found all I needed: first supportive and inspiring owner (s), second a comfortable bed in an aesthetic environment, a nice tranquillity room to work, read or eat, a backyard to enjoy leisury time and even a hot tub to recover form a hard day. Most of all I will remember how they cared about making my experience nice and corresponding to my specific needs.
Amazingly outstanding experience.. Had stayed there thrice. Cant imagine staying anywhere else.
perfect 3 days. visiting my dd and the attractions around. excellent breakfasts. the host was very welcoming and friendly and pup zoey is adorable. i really liked the fact that i was not confined to my room thanks to the breakfast/sunroom which looks out onto the wonderful landscaped gardens. reasonably priced, clean, comfortable and easy access both to the city as well as st. jacob's for a market trip. a/c in the bedroom was most appreciated in the 30C weather and the internet service is great. i am not a tv person but the wall mounted one was nice for relaxing. a nice easy chair where i sat to read with the window open the night it cooled down. zero complaints.wish i had stayed longer. thanks dave et al!
