My friend was raving about this place, so she took me there yesterday. Let me tell you...it was worth the hype. We happened to go on a rainy day and that bowl of borscht was the perfect thing to warm up from the cold. I also had the sauerkraut perogies that were also amazing. You can tell they are made with care and they were the perfect thickness. I will definitely be going back soon and bringing many of my friends.
Popped into this cozy restaurant while running errands in Waterloo. It was a cold day, so the idea of warm comfort food was ideal. I had a bowl of the borscht soup and 1/2 dozen sauerkraut perogies. It was all very good and friendly service.
Thee best perogies and borsh around. I so love that I can get frozen meals that provide home-cooked comfort food on days when I don't feel like cooking. I've visited the restaurant too (pre-2020) have always enjoyed my experience.
Had a really nice meal in a very clean establishment. The woman who took my order and served me was lovely. I couldn’t help but notice how meticulously arranged the seasoning packets and how neatly folded the napkins were in the table baskets. Attention to detail really reflected the pride in this cafe. I ordered a turkey sandwich and borsch which were great, I don’t know much about Russian cuisine but I really enjoyed my meal.
The borscht and pelmini are so good!
