The Waterloo University Conservation area has the Columbia Lake, another small reservoir and a disc golf court. Based on the signals, winter maintenance is not provided. I arrived from the south and the only place to park is beside a 18th century hut.

This is one of the absolutely most beautiful parks in this entire region and has awesome walking trails and beautiful nature. There are a plethora of birds. I cannot recommend enjoying this park enough. I try to go here every day for exercise and to enjoy nature. It is the perfect Covid get away.
Nice spot to relax and walk. There's a baseball diamond, soccer field and disc golf course too. The soccer field also provides a high viewpoint of Columbia Lake. The stonedust trails are good quality, and one of the trails wedges between Laurel Creek and an agricultural field which provides lots of shade and cool temperatures on a hot summer day. My only qualm is that it's difficult to walk from one side of the lake to the other.
Lovely place for a stroll
The grounds are beautiful and the trail in quite good shape.
one of the best place to watch a sunrise.
