It is with great displeasure that I write a less than stellar review. This has nothing to do with the care at the centre as I cannot speak to that. I'd like to share my experience with the administration part of the centre. I registered my daughter for their bilingual preschool program. I was eager to get her started there so I paid the deposit and I foolishly very quickly also paid half of the tuition well before the deadline. I had to withdraw my daughter from the program. I told them well in advance and before the tuition payment deadline was even due. But because I had already paid it, the board decided not to refund me the tuition portion. I understand the deposit but the tuition portion should have been an exception based on the fact that I had paid it early and chose to cancel early as well. It's like accidentally making a payment. To me they are stealing as they had no troubles filling the spot and yet they are collecting tuition for services not rendered. Lesson learned. Never pay anything ahead of time. Really disappointing that they couldn't have ruled in a more compassionate and ethically correct way.

Waterloo Infant and Toddler Daycare is our second home and the teachers are now members of our extended family. We have been at the Daycare for over 5 years and it has been a wonderful experience. Administration is happy to dedicate time to discuss any unique questions or concerns you may have. The food is great and provides such a balance for the kids. I have found that my picky eaters ate foods they don't normally because of the way it was prepared and the experience of eating it with their peers. The teachers are loving and warm and put my mind at ease when I needed to be away from my children for work. They made the transition from maternity leave to work as seamless as possible and helped each of my children to integrate quickly. The summer camp is phenomenal as well and provides a variety of activities and field trips that keep the summer interesting. The provided lunches are definitely a welcomed break from packed lunches too! The only \problem\ you will have with the Daycare is when it is time to say goodbye when your child graduates on to Kindergarten. This is definitely something I am dreading. You will not be disappointed by Waterloo Infant and Daycare!
This is a wonderful day care, with attentive, and caring staff. I have two boys that attended here. They attended the infant, toddler, and preschool classes. I have a son with special needs that just graduated his preschool program. The staff and his dedicated EA have been instrumental in helping him progress in his speech language, and physio therapy goals. My other son who doesn't have special needs loved to kiss and hug his teachers every day, since he really liked them.
I love this daycare! The teachers are sweet and my son loves going here. He started in the infant room which he didn't enjoy, however, the toddler room is the best! He gets excited on the way there. They have lots of toys and activities plus they cook all meals on-site.
I wish there is no star to rate. If your child is a child with special need, you need think triple before send your child to this daycare. They has no knowledge dealing , and they refused to give a permanent support teacher means they will change a new support teacher everyday. This will drive your child more confusion and more tantrums. Sands in diaper every week and they didn't take your complaints seriously. What they care is money. Good luck to your child if you choice this daycare.
