I started fencing here with no experience at all about 4 months ago and I haven't turned back. Everyone (members and staff) is very nice and welcoming. Vitaliy is a world class coach and it shows every minute you're on the floor with him. I would recommend this place to anyone that had even a vague interest in learning what fencing is all about. It's a competitive, both mentally and physically challenging, and above all FUN sport. Stop by Monday/Wednesday and I'll see you on the strip. ;)

the trainers are excellent, both challenging yet fun. It's not a boot-camp style environment, which manages to keep a good balance of fun to keep kids interested and discipline to keep them learning.

I had the absolute pleasure of training in Saber with coach Vitaliy for a year. I have since moved to NYC, but I frequently come back to Boston and I always stop by his club. It's by far the best club for Saber and Foil in the city. There is nothing that Vitaliy can't teach you about fencing and the community is great and supportive. There are a lot of different levels of fencers there too, ranging from beginners to national champions. The facilities themselves are very nice. Brand new floors, very clean and open. The strips are all regulation size and there is plenty of room, which is not only great, but rare to find in Boston. If you are at all interested in fencing, I cannot recommend the Fencing Academy of Boston enough.
