Love Farnsworth Metropark. Nice towpath for running, walking and riding. 2 campsites at the riverside make for beautiful morning and evening views as well as easy access to the river for, in my case, kayak use. And not to mention free firewood. Rustic site with a shelter. No electricity or running water so come prepared. I am going to continue to go back as often as I can. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful and scenic. Many people there, but maintained social distance. There was even a family there having a cook out, despite the chilly weather.

Farnsworth Metro Park was great!! We took our two kids (ages four and two), and they had a blast playing on the small playground. Even though the playground is small it is still great, there are two slides, some swings, and this fun little gully for the kids to climb in and out of. We are excited to explore this Metropark even more (which will take us a long time because it’s huge)!!

Beautiful park. Trails to hike or ride bikes. Kayaked around the islands, it was beautiful.

Beautiful river views and lots of history. Excellent deep water canoeing or kayaking around Missionary Island. Modern launch area. Bring your own or rent theirs.
