After going through a few bathroom companies, we met Gary and knew straightaway that this is the person to create our perfect bathroom. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he listened to us. When we gave him our list of requirements, he did his research and was able to use products and techniques that would fit our requirements. One such requirement was to have the smallest amount of grout in the shower area, and have shower shelfs with lights instead of the usual metal baskets. Gary’s solution to this was to use ceramic tiles that were 2400mm x 1200mm for our shower area and he created two niches for the shower shelf. The finished bathroom has been described by friends and family as one from a five-star hotel and we couldn’t be happier. Gary has been extremely helpful and bending over backwards to make us happy as we were fussy customers. He changed certain small pieces that didn’t look right or work in the finished article but when he finished the bathroom it was a testament to him and his team that have created something special.

I used this company to install a new bathroom nearly 3 years ago. The job was meant to be finished on Christmas Eve 2016 , it wasn't completed until March 2017. Whilst installing the bathroom, a leak developed underneath the bath, the fitter installed the plug for the electric toothbrush underneath the sink without consulting me, even though it was meant to go in a cupboard above and to the side of the sink, he changed it back to where it was meant to be originally placed but that is where is should have been installed in the first place. 2 months after they had gone the toilet seat went wonky, they replaced the toilet seat, the same thing happened again, eventually I got another fitter to change it, he told me the toilet seat wasn't screwed in properly. I have changed the shower screen as the previous one leaked water, the shower fixing broke and I had to replace it. Then the silicone around the sink came out and the sink was loose, a new builder I am using fixed but he was so angry as he said the sink wasn't attached to anything just siliconed in and he hates shoddy work by tradesmen. The grouting in the floor tiles is starting to come out. The ambient temperature taps in the bath isn't working as it should either. I expected this installation to last for years and have been very disappointed at having to make all these repairs to my bathroom in such a short space of time. I would not recommend this company.

Gary designed our bathroom last year and we are still super happy with it. It looks great and works really well. Gary has a great eye for practical and design elements - we would not have thought of many of the things he did (and nor had the other companies we sought quotes from). The fitting team were polite and tidy. While it took a bit longer than planned due to a couple of issues in the installation, we would not hesitate to use Watford Bathrooms and Kitchens again - nothing was too much trouble to get the finish perfect.

Although the owner tries his hardest to sell his company to the homeowner unfortunately the actual people who do the work are not part of his company. Now when you visit the website all you see is the owner non stop which I find quite bit too much as well. When it came to receiving the quote I had to wait 2 weeks as well which compared to other companies was 10 days later. If only the owner gave as much attention to his customer service as he did to making videos of himself to then be splashed on every page on the website.
