Bob & Anne’s is a very good place to have breakfast, (I’ve grown up in the area so it’s nostalgic and feels like home) I had the bacon omelette with cheese and green pepper, with hash browns and toast, the omelette was delicious, the hash browns were a little bit overcooked, and the toast... well... toasted and buttered perfectly. Overall a very filling and delicious breakfast. Thank you to dolly, our very sweet server, she was very nice and considerate.
Go on Sunday for leg of lamb, best and tastiest around, comes with soup and salad. Great and friendly place, has good breakfast also. Would be 5 stars but kind of greasy spoon type diner, older but clean.
Bob an anns skillets are pretty good
Low prices for a high quality set of full course-style meals. Enjoyed my roast pork, vegetable cream, and ice cream meal. Great to visit after the trails in Illinois State Beach Park.
