When dealing with this company, I've received horrible customer service and poor excuses. The first issue I had was a few months ago. I received a disconnect notice even though a payment had been made, and they told my roommate that they had called several times over the past three weeks as warning before the disconnect notice (which never happened). Then last month we never received a bill at all. I had even checked numerous times in the actual mailbox and my e-mails. When I went to the payment website at the end of the month (since that's normally when our bill is due), it didn't have a due date and just showed a balance of 130.32 as of 6/29. I paid that balance so we wouldn't fall behind on the bill or anything, even though it never said a due date. I received a hard copy bill in the mail today and it says my payment last month was late so there's a late charge. I called and she admitted they had a new billing system implemented last month but tried assuring me that didn't affect bills being sent out or anything. I even have pictures of the email showing there wasn't a due date last month since I sent it to my roommate so I could get their portion of bill money. This company likes to take advantage and charge ridiculous fees with little to no explanation.

I don't understand all of the hate being thrown this way from the other reviews. In the seven years I've been here, I recall the power being out only one time for about an hour or two due to a car crash. I've never had any problems on the billing end like others have noted here. Their rates are also dirt cheap compared to the last three places I've lived.

We sent in our money order for the bill three days ago, and now we have a shutoff notice for tomorrow. Having given them a call, the clerk on the phone told us that if we bring them the money and put it in their dropbox, that we won't have the shutoff occur. It's already in the mail however. The response they gave was more or less an it's not my problem response. So basically we're hoping they find the payment in their mail stack, or we get shutoff, and our food will go bad.

Power went out in half of my house at around 10 pm on a friday night, including my furnace. After a half hour being confused and not knowing what was wrong i called them and was directed to an answering service. About 5 minutes after that i got a call back and about an hour after that someone was at my house to diagnose the problem. He installed a temporary fix to get me through the weekend and will be back on Monday to compete everything [half the leg coming into the house went bad]. I was really impressed with how quick everything was taken care of and how friendly and seemingly happy he was to be doing this on a friday night. I really couldn't be more impressed.

Awful customer service. There is no reason I should be on hold for 22 minutes and then have my call dropped. This company is a joke
